Slecht nieuws

- bad news -

Some more bad news for me. My lens has broken in parts as I have accidentally dropped my bag (with the camera inside) on the road while waiting for the traffic lights to go green.

So no fresh pics 'till next week as I have ordered a new lens. More money spending like water...I'm so broke as a joke, it's unreal!

Here are some pics I've made yesterday while walking around my neighbourhood. It's also the very last day of my 'living' lens...which wasn't broken yet.

- This is a cute little store on the famous 'Albert Cuypmarkt', in Albert Cuypstraat. :) -

- Welcome to my...'district'

I'm so sorry to hear about your camera lens. The second photo is so funny, it reminds me of an old restaurant called "The Canal House" where the kids were always taking the C off. I guess that kind of humor is worldwide.
That street shot is nice, too.

Oh, man, I totally feel for you and your lens. Last year something happened to mine. Every time I took a picture, the camera would come up with a weird error and just freeze. I took it to a specialized store and they took it for TWO months! Can you imagine two whole months without your camera? Believe me, it ain't pretty. And it was really expensive, too :(

By the way, I LOVE the last picture. There is something about it that just speaks volumes to me, for some reason. Perhaps it is the ordinary scene, it feels like it came out of a movie, perhaps it's the person I can see through the window, I don't know, but I love it. It's one of my favorites from you. I would be the happiest person in the world if I lived in a street like that.

I hope you get your fresh copy soon so we can go around the city and terrorise people with our cameras :P

Jack, TAG baby, you're it! I thought you'd be the perfect person to tag, since you can't take pictures.
