Bezoeker

- visitor -

So, here's the reason why I haven't been bloggin' for a while...

- Taken in Begijnhof. It's a small and very quiet neighbourhood in the middle of the center (next to SPUI)! I've been here once before but didn't knew you could actually live here! -

As you can see, I had a visitor over from a country, far, far away from here. While I gave her a tour through the city, I discovered new streets, shops, shortcuts even a prostitute behind a window in a street where I thought there were no prostitutes at all!

- Damstraat. My visitor came to Amsterdam in the right period, because the sun was shining bright for daaays! The day I took this picture looked like a summer day...although it felt quite chilly sometimes. Brrrr! -

And now I have to get back on working on my thesis about...'weblog'. :)

Is that Evelyn!? Awwww, that is so freakin' coooooolll!!!

Wait, it is her, right? Hehe.

What you wrote on this post reminded me exactly of how I felt when writing that one about rediscovering your city when you show it to someone else. It looks like you learned a couple things about Amsterdam you didn't know before :)

Best of luck on your thesis!

Nice photos. I'm sure you showed your friend a good time.
The idea of prostitutes in windows is so intriguing, very different kind of window shopping than what we have around here.

The red light district area is always fun to walk through..
Just out of curiousity...but we girls look more at what they ARE wearing.
Not the other way round...
Love how you captured your friend in that first shot .
