Subway station ´Wibautstraat´. (for the photography geeks: long exposure! about 20 seconds)
Sometimes I take the tram, and lately the subway because I live near a subway station right now!
I prefer my bike over public transport though, especially when it´s beautiful weather...
Amsterdam is such a nice city to travel from ´A to B´ by bike. But you have to be careful; it´s very easy to get involved in a traffic accident because a lot of bikers (and scooter kids) don´t stop for a red sign!
Today, I almost got driven over by an old man in a Porsche (who is obviously in a midlife crisis). Next time I´m going to throw my bike against the car if he doesn´t stop when I´m walking the crossWALK!

Whoa, I do have a bike but biking in the middle of jakarta's sea of cars is kinda creepy ;P

I don't have a bike. I walk everywhere and take buses and the subway. It sucks that I am so freaking scared of tall bikes, but I can't control them!!! Give me the tiny ones and I'll find. Or a scooter. I loooove scooters.
I only get to ride a push bike when I go to the sunny coast to see the parentals. would love to be able to ride around the city, maybe one day :]

I got a lovely Romain. I think it was my dream to buy a nice crappy bike when I moved to NL. I do not like to use the public transport that often as I do not want to rely on them! But when it rains cats and dogs..then I hate biking.
The transportation is one of the things I miss most about Europe. No subway in Seattle...boo hoo.
Very nice and good idea - public transport is always a good subject - maybe I'll have to go to our "voetgangerstunnel" pretty soon that leads people from the left bank to the right and back - the 300m tunnel is covered in a 300m poem these days ...
i have three bikes :)
when i lived in London i ended up racing London-Brighton. it was so much fun even though i ended up not being able to walk for a day or so.
i don't. i do walk to work and such in nice weather though.
i wish we had a decent public transportation system where i live, but it's just some pretty questionable buses and about three taxis.

and i live in a beach, so i take long rides around the parks, and the sea shore around my place... but when i want to go to the city... too far to go by it... thou some times i think i would get faster on it... considerating the stupid drivers around!!!

I had a bike, but it got stolen three times and then I didnt have a bike anymore.
i love the subway! I take it every morning to school and back, it's basically the way to transport in stockholm haha. you will love it! the walls are painted in all colours and decorated with cool prints, atleast at most stops. xx
i always take the subway in nyc! its a staple!
