It's Kwistmus!

explanation of the title of this post: that's what my sister said the whooole time

- What time is it? -

- 'It's Kwistmus time!!' -

- With one Bonbon to share with the whooole family! (Just kiddin'...) -

- And then it was time to go back to Amsterdam -

- Goodby boring Ede. It was okay to see you again. But I love my parents who are still living in this lil-nothing-special-to-do-getting-bored-and-getting-violent-very-easily-town and it was good to see them again. -

- Hello Amsterdam. I love you. -

great post! Nice atmosphere in these photos. The one of the man (who is it?) walking is just seriously awesome!

I don't know if you meant to be funny, but your captions made me laugh the entire time, hahaha "With one Bonbon to share with the whooole family!" You're crazy, hehehe.

And also, I guess it was funny to me because I can relate so well, I mean, I love my family and being with them, but they live in this small-ish town, with barely anything to do, and I'm already thinking "NEW YORK. I. Need. New York. NOW."

Good thing LA is very close, though :P

By the way, I loove the second picture, and yes, the bonbon picture, too! :D

This place is so beautiful. :) Thanks for the song recommendation. Luckily I got an iTunes giftcard and am planning to download lots of new 'tunes! :)

I love the picture of the sparkler. Amsterdam is beautiful! I love the fact that you never see a large car/SUV in Europe; it seems much more efficient!

Aww, thanks all!!

@ Sarah, it's me walking in the middle of the road while I was waiting for the bus. I put the camera on the road and made a picture with a timer. :)

@ Rita, uhm...meant to be funny? Naaaah. :P I'd long for NYC too if I would be living there. I miss the city. I can't imagine actually living there. I'd probably never leave the city. Many Amsterdam people hardly leave this city because you can practically do (and buy) everything here. :)

@ Fashion Chalet: I'm also addicted to 'Sébastian Tellier'!

@ Ausrine: Well, we do have large cars/SUV's over here! Although, I've lived in Sweden and they really LOVE oldtimers. It's insane how many people own an oldtimer over there.

haha, well merry Kwistmus!
I should visit Amsterdam some time, I've never been there!
Oh and you like Sébastien Tellier? Me too! I'm going to a show in February yaaay ^-^

Can understand that you're always glad to go to the big city again...
I guess A'dam is comparable to Antwerp.
I always feel like an alien when I'm in these little 'dorpjes' - you see the difference in attitude, fashion and the looking at the world and it's problems...

I always like going to A'dam too...I just love the houses and the 'grachten'...

"happie kwistmas"-time to you too ...

VERRASSING".

Dan weet ik dat ook weer :)

Nice pictures. I hate nothing-special-to-do-getting-bored-and-getting-violent-very-easily-towns though..

@ Renée...shhh! Alleen voor de Dutchie's onder ons. :P

@ Spaceship commander: my neighbourhood was once a very violent neighbourhood. And our 'the place to be' in the center (just this little square with a few bars) was the first ever in The Netherlands which had camera's hanging all over the place to ease down all the agressive drunken people. It became more peaceful because everyone knew they were being watched. Haha.
But right now, my parents live in a very, very, peaceful neighbourhood with many young kids. :)
