Yashica B, Part 2

For all you photography lovers out there, here´s a small selection of black & white pics made with the antique camera.
These were all shot with an expired Kodak Tri-X 400 film.

Keersloot at 3 am.

Man in the mirror

Something went wrong again...it´s a picture of our bicycle shelter and Staalstraat combined.

The next series of Yashica pics will be in color.

These are so gooood. I love them all, expecially the last one. Maybe I should use my antique camera and finally finish the film in it.

I'll get the hang of it, maar ben er tot nu toe erg tevreden over!

See, this is EXACTLY the kind of smooshy gorgeousness that I don't think you can replicate with digital....sometimes I work at a photographic agency (in the office) and play a little game when I am putting together the photographer's portfolios- can I pick which photos are film and which one's aren't (some of the photographers shoot both). Almost always I get it right- and I have to say that I LOVE LOVE LOVE film (sigh). I am still getting a handle on digital, goodness only knows how I would go with film :)

I love the tone that it gives off. I've been playing around with a Nikon FA film camera that was handed over from my father. Not as old as yours, but I'm looking forward to how see how the photos come out.

With love Jessi

There's something haunting about these photos and I love it.
And to answer your question: the rules of journalism turned out to be too strict. I think I'm more of an arts and humanities girl. And creative writing may be more of my thing. I just don't know at this point. But I'll figure it out.

p.s. happy belated bday!

Dankje!
