I´ve been thinking of getting an antique TLR (Twin Lens Reflex) camera like a Rolleiflex. But after doing research, I´ve found out there were a lot of different models. One of ´m is the Yashica.
I found this baby on the weekly bookmarket in Amsterdam on Art Square ´t Spui. Definitely one of my favorite spots in Amsterdam.
I couldn´t believe my eyes, because the day before I did research about TLR camera´s...alllll day long. What a coincidence.
The Yashica B (1957!) came with the extremely rare (green!) box, a yellow filter, a leatherbag (leather from the outside, and sexy red silk from the inside) with a small bag attached to it (for the yellow filter). And there was another tiny leather bag, for the lightmeter!
Viewfinder. When making a picture, you have to place the camera against your belly and look through the lens from above.
Hopefully, in the near future, I hope to make pics like these ones...!
Some people have even switched from digital to film. Yes. Back to the ol´ school analogue!

Coooool! I have been considering switching to film very seriously as well, I want a Holga!!! And I am determined to get one (currently trying to convince my mom to give me one for my birthday in August, and if that doesn't work, get her to give me money and buy the camera anyway hahaha, she doesn't want me to get hooked on film).
Anyway, I'm happy for you! I think it's a great purchase and I cannot wait to see your new photos! :D

I still remembered the days we were discussing this kind of film carema when I was in Amsterdam. And, now you really get one in reality. And, I can't believe the great bookmarket in spui selling old carema as well ( but, i think it is rare! )..so you are very lucky to see this baby yashica!!

Wow what a GREAT camera! TLR's look so cool, I don't know why but they just do haha! I have a 50 year old kodak, but I'm still figuring out how to get the settings just right! It's really hard if you're used to a camera who does it all for you!

i actually have no idea what kind mine is it's around 8 years old though so just one of those everyone used to use before digital came out, but i did find this old polaroid supercolor 635 but not sure if it works or not i need film for that too.
