My muse

Oh yeah...this picture is part of the muse-series I shot for a photography competition.
You can vote for me, if you like the series. Or...if you just like this blog. Or me. :)
If I'm going to be the winner in either of the two categories (public / jury)...I'll post something special on the blog. Promise!
And a promise is a promise.

Welcome to 2011

A new year...a fresh start...

When we hit 2012, I want all of us to look back to 2011 with no regrets...

So take risks and act crazy, because on december 21st, 2012...we're no longer here! (According to the Maya's...)

Check out my flickr page to see a different shot of Jim looking at the snowflakes!

Oh, and make more 'jokes'; every succesful person on this earth started their career 'as a joke'...at least that's what they ALWAYS say. Such a cliché...but hey!

Home is where the heart is

I forgot where I get this line from! Probably some hiphop track...? Hm...no, I don't think so.

Well, at the moment I'm searching for a new home because my next home will be a home where my heart really is at home.

Taken at Blasiusstraat, Amsterdam (east!). Apartamento style...haha.

Check out my flickr to see another shot of this home, and the story behind these pictures...

-update...I remember...it was Gil Scott Heron with - 'Home Is Where The Hatred Is' - I've been listening to his albums for hours and hours...

Sister in the kitchen

...lately I've been shooting solely with my Rollei 35 S camera and it's getting very addicting like never before. Probably because of the surprise feeling I get, every time I pick up the developed pictures at my favorite photo shop in Amsterdam East. It's probably better than every drug in the world. I love that feeling.
I used to live right around the corner of the photo shop, but now I have to cycle through the whole city of Amsterdam (30 minutes!!) to get there. But it's worth every mile.

Sister (and her oversized beige American Apparel sweater) in her kitchen. Cooking dinner. For me.
