Work / Life / Future

Meet M. (my Boss of the company I'm now working for...). This (unfortunately a little bit overexposed...) pic was taken during our walk with her dogs in a park near her house. In the background you can see Tabor...trying to bark his tennisball back out of the water...

Me and M. at least have one thing in common: our love for vintage camera's...!! These camera's right here were a few of the 58 camera's in total which she bought for only €120,-!!!! How insane is that??

Suit (a Danish brand) is one of the Scandinavian brand's she's dealing with. It's also one of my favorite brands because almost everything of the mens collection is just really cool! This good looking sequin sweater is one of the main pieces of the new season (from the women's collection of course).

I'm not too sure about my future at this company because I'm thinking of going back to school next year; The School of Photography. Either somewhere here in The Netherlands or in Sweden; Göteborg to be exact.
Or, I'm just going to stay the autodidact that I am, travel all over the world and just seize the day.

Ooo I like the first picture it almost looks like a dream because it's over-exposed. Tabor looks like a lil gargolye in the pic, too. My mom collects vintage cameras, if we're lucky we sometimes see them cheap at thrift stores. That's a deal M got for thost cameras. I wish you luck on this job =)

CARPE DIEM! That's a philosophy I like hehe. I love your self-portrait... love is really an understatement, I could discuss it for hours!

Your posts always make me wish I had a film camera already! (how long have I been saying this now? hahaha). They really do.

I would love to go to school for photography. I love making pictures, but I never know what the hell I'm doing with my camera hahahaha. It's all instinct-based– not always a good thing :P

I love the over-exposed picture too. Especially the farthest building and trees, they look like negatives.
I don't know anything about cameras, I just point and shoot. Then I download and crop. My camera is cool, Cute Hubby bought it for my last birthday. Years ago, way before digital, I used a Nikon. The photos from that camera are still my favorites. So there's my little camera story, haha.
You look cute in your self portrait.

Leuke persoonlijke post!

nice cameras collection. I (as amateur) like very much overexposed pics ;)
I check some information and Yves dad, Fred/Frist, was Dutch with Indonesian extraction.

Daniel - you got so many analogue cameras are you becoming a collector!? :o

Loving your portrait picture here as well - great shot!

As for future prospects - we are all in the same zone - I don't know what mine has got in petto (cant translate that word hehe) for me :)

58 cameras! That is insane! I am so jealous right now. I only have two vintage cameras and they don't even work.
Moving on, that self portrait of yours is one heck of a good one. I adore the tones. The camera you're holding seems really neat. I've never heard of it.
Hope you're having a good week, Daniel!
