Drang exposition

I don't even want to blog about this because I didn't win the price...

But...I'm an optimistic loser so I always see the bright side of negativity. Yes!

47 images were placed on the walls of the long hallway at Winston Hotel. I really appreciate all the work they've done to all these pictures. I like the paper golden frame. :)

Unfortunately, together with five other pictures, my picture was shown on the part of the wall with no light at all (OF COURSE. I'm always f****d.)...so I had to take this picture with flash.

The founders and organizers of the Drang competition. Announcing THE WINNER........ at the end of the small hallway.

You can see my picture and the other ones until the 28th of november at Winston Hotel.

Or you can just contact me and I'll show you the original picture on medium format and plus, I'll buy you a cup of coffee and we can have a talk about life and our favorite-things-to-do.

Next post will be a happy one.

Good photos don't need artifices to improve them, nor a place where they can stand out. they should stand out on their own! at least, you got in the competition, right? best luck next time.

Jammer dat je niet gewonnen hebt, maar zie het als een stap dat je in ieder geval genomineerd was! Volgende keer wordt je tweede en daarna eerste ;)

oh dear...
you know... i just got into this cometition recently, for a stop motion animation...
i was so happy with my work, that i had absolutly no doubt i was winning... so, i spent the whole week that lasted to know the results, thrilled with my work.

you can obviusly imagine, i didnt win, of course!!
ahahaha , but i spent so great days with that illusion, that in the end, it didnt matter that much...

any way...
i guess i could use a coffe... if in all your crazy plans ever happen to be close to latin america... hehee

no need to say, that your pictures are so beatiful, you handle the light of the place in a very tender way... even this, that was flashed...

(i have already said this to you... even when you dont ask for a hug...)

have a nice week.

Awww, I WISH I had the option of sitting down with Jack Daniel with a cup of coffee and have a nice conversation. Your picture is amazing. And even if you didn't win, already being part of this exhibition is a huge accomplishment.
