Many years ago, people thought we would 'drive' in flying cars in the year 2000. Not uh! It's never gonna happen. Not even in the year 3011.
Perhaps we have been encountered by a new species by then. And they will probably take over our beautiful looking planet...are we gonna make it 'till 3011? What's gonna happen in 2012? Will the earth be destroyed??? According to the Mayas, earth is going to be destroyed on december 21st, 2012...I think it won't get destroyed. We will become slaves of extra terrestrials.

There's an evolving dna theory too. By 2012 our dna evolves to the next big step, which is the end of this era as we know it. Guess we're all going to have to wait and see.
