Sleep deprivation

Oh shit.

I've caught myself stuttering lately.

And that's because of...'Oh shit'. I'm literally messing up my brain because of lack of sleep in the weekends...and also during the week, I must say.
I can't go to bed before 1am; even when I have to get up at 6am the next morning. I have way too much energy at night which I have to lose with watching movies or doing creative things like messing around in photoshop or producing music ('till my head nods (almost banging my head on my laptop / table / other furniture) from being extremely sleepy).

Oh well. I'll get catch up on lost sleep when I'm leaving this planet. Most of the time, I sleep 6 hours and I really feel okay! Perhaps I should sleep 1 hour longer to get the perfect amount of sleep-time.

How many hours of sleep do you get per night?

I'm an insomniac so I think I'm incapable of getting a good night's sleep. I get bursts of energy at night for some reason too. hehe. If I get 5 hours I'm lucky!! =)

I usually get 5 to 6 on week nights, less on weekends.

I'm currently running on 2-3 hours a night due to an inability to switch off. Argh. In more normal times 6 hours is ideal for me.

I try to go to bed between 12 and 2AM ... I need to get up at 6,30 (the latest) to start my daily routine ...
Luckily I fall asleep as soon as my head hits the cushion ... but I bet my pre-heated blanket will have something to do with that (I know, don't ask...I call it my dork blanket)
;-)

PS Fridays and Sats can be later .... but hey, that's why we call it the weekend, right ?

I cannot sleep before 2.00am. Even when I am very tired the whole day, I stop being tired at night and continue watching animal planet, discovery channel and nat geo until my eyes shut.

Oh boy, my sleeping schedule has been a mess the past two or three years. I've been trying to get it back on track and to sleep at least 6-8 hours.
Even when I do sleep in (I love to sleep) I never feel well rested. It's terrible.

That photograph is absolutely beautiful by the way!

This post sounds a lot like my life has always been. I can hardly get to bed before 12.30 and then I read for maybe an hour. I find it hard to stop doing stuff, whether it's graphic deign, reading blogs or making music. Too much brain activity before a 7hr sleep! It's a hard habit to change.

I love this picture, I told you so on Flickr, and I really do. I wanna print it and carry it with me forever to remind me all the time that this is the kind of photo I want to make, and this is the kind of feeling I want to transmit.

I sleep late, I can't help it. Midnight is early for me, yet since I started this semester I've been trying to go to sleep no later than that. So far it's been mostly working.
